Surgery went great!

We wanted to let everyone know that we are home and AG did great. Dr. P said that she did great, it only took like 10 mins, but her adenoids were large and most likely the culprit of all her problems.
We are so thankful to all who prayed and lifted us up today. We surely felt at peace the whole day. Mom only had one crying spell as they took sweet punkin away.
We are very happy to be home and are looking forward to a healthier AG.
Love.

AG to have surgery

AG has been struggling with constant sinus infections for a couple of months now. So in order to help our little sweet punkin out we are going to be having surgery this Friday at Cooks Children's in FW. We both feel very comfortable with this decision as well as the doctor that is performing the ear tubes, adnoidectomy and a sinus irrigation.
I will hopefully post updates as to how she is doing.
We know that God has his wonderful hand in this surgery and that she will be much better off because of this procedure.

RR in town..

Ok, some of you who know me well know that I love RR. She seems like such an awesome person and she has inspired me to cook. I started watching her when after I had AG and she has led me to find my passion for cooking. Not only did she teach me skills for cooking she gave me confidence to get in there and just make something. That to me is 85% of cooking, having the confidence to get in there and just do it!
Well, I was reading the paper the other morning and guess what she was coming to Southlake. Oh my goodness, that is so close to me. So of course, I went to see her.
And can I tell you that she appears just like she does on TV, nice, warm, welcoming, and just friendly. She seems like you could hang out with her for hours and be in amazement. Or at least I could. Anyways, here are a couple of pics of her at WS this past weekend.
